After all the donations have arrived the businesses that helped you, and organizations that volunteered would probably like to know how much money the event earned for the charity. Send out a postcard with the total amount earned, and if you plan on doing the event next year let them know that you hope they can be involved again.
Fear is great at paralyzing us and killing our dreams. Even before starting a business, the fear of failure sets in and prevents most of us from even taking that first step. To start a business, you have to be willing to accept the risk failure. To do this, you have to be able to change your perspective and see each failure as a temporary setback on your long journey towards success.
Its not a bad idea to give some of your biggest fans some free shirts. You’re going to need a shopping cart on your page. GoDaddy has a wonderful site hosting and shopping cart tools. You are also going to have to be able to take orders and ship to your customers in a reasonable amount of time. I might suggest UPS. or USPS. Whichever you think is cheapest and speediest.
If you can avoid getting a loan from a bank to start your t-shirt business, then do it. Banks are a hassle, and have big interest rates that can really cut into your profits. The one good thing about getting a loan from a bank to fund your t-shirt business is that they can give you a TON of money to spend on mass-producing your t-shirts. I suggest avoiding the banks when you start your t-shirt company.
Once you have received team sign-ups, ask them to look for someone to sponsor their team or give set donations in increments of tens. If any businesses you have already talked to are interested in sponsoring a team put them on a list and let your teams know that if they are having trouble finding a sponsor to contact you.
Party t-shirts are the best way to show off the wonderful mood you are in. Between jumping in pools, having barbeques, dancing and staying hydrated, you still want to make sure you look good and are properly dressed for the crazy times ahead of you. Not only are party t-shirts great for the occasion, Acttee they are easy to pick out or design and do not require you to stress about at all. Most party t-shirts look nice with anything. Wearing them with a pair of jeans, a swimsuit, cargo pants, or anything else you might choose, these t-shirts always look great!
Now, you might be asking yourself – How do I start a business like this if I have no money? Who do I get a loan from? Well, you don’t have to! Starting a business from your home is the best way to do things. For one, you don’t have to borrow money from anyone and have that hanging over your head (after-all, you are doing this to be FREE of all stress right?) You also will not have the stress of worrying about your business not doing so great and you losing out on thousands of dollars in start-up costs. With bootstrapping your business, there is little-to-zero in start-up costs. Bootstrapping your business is, in a nutshell, the art of starting a business with little-to-no money to begin with. Concentrate on sales, and customer service, and your business will fall into place.
