This last weekend among my close friends reached visit us in Chicago so we had a girl’s weekend full of food, cocktails and outrageous laughter. A lot of university stories arrived up too – stories as well embarrassing to write about. Food wise, we ended up at Mott St. , Arbella and Baker Miller And because of this weekend, I will have a favorite new-to-me restaurant called Gather I must say i can’t say plenty of good things approximately it!

Since I am traveling rather than getting enough sleep over the past couple of weeks, I came down with a cold, which includes now turned into a raging sinus infection. Oh pleasure – aren’t those fun? It’s remaining me with puffy eye and severe exhaustion. Whomp whomp.

Good thing we have this pumpkin turkey chili that’s both nice and spicy. It’ll help make me feel much better, I’m sure of it. Pumpkin treatments all.

This post comes to you together with my besties at Peapod , who asked me to share a simple but absolutely delicious slow cooker recipe together with you! So of course, I took my favorite healthy turkey chili formula and turned it up just a little with pumpkin, cayenne, cinnamon and a hint of maple. Er muhhh gawd, it’s gooooddd. Especially with cornbread

The pumpkin is actually lovely addition and creates an uber creamy texture to the chili. Plus, you loads of vitamin A & C & that crazy good fiber. I love savoring this chili with sharpened cheddar mozzarella cheese, greek yogurt and crunchy tortilla potato chips.

To create it for meal prep

Basically divide into individual glass or BPA free containers, top with cheddar cheese and place in the fridge until ready to reheat!

Enjoy! If you make this formula, I’d love to observe your creation – simply upload a pic to Instagram and label #ambitiouskitchen!

Tony got me personally a wonderful glaciers cream maker for my birthday last December and We finally put it to good make use of with this absolutely amazing vegan wild blueberry lavender coconut snow cream.

The very first time I ever had lavender ice cream was at Jeni’s within Chicago. It was a marvelous wildberry lavender flavor that was shiny purple, special, floral and uber creamy. Probably one of the best ice lotions that I’ve ever endured. Through the summertime, fruity ice lotions are where it’s at.

I used to believe that adding lavender to sweets was just a little strange, but now I’m completely addicted and want to add it to EVERYTHING. I purchased culinary lavender from an area spice shop a few weeks back and I’m so happy I did so. (You can even buy it online here) I’ve added it to homemade teas, muffins, breads and today ice cream.

Oh yes, snow cream that just so happens to be vegan & naturally sweetened. How, you question?

Well, we use full body fat coconut milk, an ultra creamy and normally sweet milk matched with Almond Breeze AlmondMilk CoconutMilk , which provides a pleasant sweetness. Uhhh huhhhh honey, this is gonna end up being goooooddd.

This ice cream is EASY to make too! You’d think ice cream making will be difficult but as soon as you begin, you feel quickly addicted. You’ll need an snow cream manufacturer, but I believe you’ll find yourself using it over and over again!

So, just how do we allow it to be?

First you’ll warm several of your substances up and blend, after that stick in the fridge for a couple hours to chill. The trick to this vegan glaciers cream is to ensuring the coconut dairy is Cool before actually putting it into your ice cream machine. It makes all of the difference.

While the mixture is chilling, you’ll create a blueberry compote for the range top. I love using wild blueberries for their exclusive and bright flavor, but regular blueberries will continue to work just fine. Once the compote is done, you’ll swirl it in the glaciers cream and freeze everything until ready to eat!

This recipe does require some patience as ice cream making requires some time, however the result is more than worth it.

I hope you like this ice cream as much as we did. Tony and I chomped down onto it after viewing Game of Thrones last night.

Just as well dang good.

P.S. Perhaps you have joined the summertime Sweat Series yet? It’s a free of charge 30 day fitness & nourishment program and I’d appreciate for you to join us! More info here + check out our FB group

Oh yessssssss. Yes I did so.

I made you more cookies made with nutella. Because isn’t it apparent I love that delicious chocolate hazelnut pass on in, on, and stuffed in only about everything?

It’s evident that I must say i love cooking you what to help to make your weekends happy, inspiring, and fun. Heaven understands that trashing the kitchen up on a Saturday afternoon is kind of essential at Ambitious Kitchen head office (aka my house). However before we discuss all the fudgy love loaded into these cookies, I needed to share with you several my favorite things lately.

Ready?

1. I’m in love with coloured pants aka nice pants. Not long ago i bought really cute wines colored jeans; they were cheap and fit perfectly! Now I’m around the visit a cranberry or wine shaded coat, but can’t seem to discover any I really like, so I guess painting my fingernails and wearing wines shaded lipstick is definitely doable in the meantime.

2. I was viewing the Food Network (what else?) and Giada emerged on. She was producing some gorgeous delicious Italian dish which produced me realize that I can’t actually remember the last time I had pasta. And OMG I thought about how much I love melty lasagna and stuffed mushroom ravioli. Oh… and everything that loaf of bread and cheese! Certainly that had a need to fixed so I made this simple fast rotini dish with butternut sage sauce I may or might not have ascended to heaven afterwards. Seriously, it was THAT good.

3. I visited this cafe in Minneapolis, and I cannot tell you how impressed I used to be. It’s my brand-new favorite; if you ever endeavor up to the Tundra that’s definitely where you need to go. Order the scallops… or the meatballs! To perish for.

4. I’ve understood how important it really is to never give up. On lifestyle. On happiness. On like. Or… on consuming Halloween Oreos. What? It’s just not possible. Especially when they’re protected in chocolate and sprinkled with ocean salt Greatest halloween treat ever?

I always claim yes to nutella. So dangerous, yet so rich and lovely!

Which is why it makes an ideal cookie dough.

Last weekend my Godkids and I made flourless peanut butter cookies , which were incredibly delicious. I thought I’d try exactly the same formula by replacing the nutella. That didn’t turn out well because the dough spread wayyy too thin. So I tried again by adding various levels of flour until I ended up with the best crispy-on-the-outside-chewy-in-the-middle cookie. They proved perfect!

My favorite part is these cookies just take about 25 mins until they’re in your tummy.

They are best served a little bit warm. And obviously adding the sea salt is crucial.

Seriously, have you any idea how hard it really is to photograph some of these recipes without eating all of them at once? Virtually impossible. I just had to sneak a bite.

Happy weekend and happy baking!

Wish I had just simply googled Nutella cookies before I tried it with the flourless pb cookie formula! They did turn out a little slim, but still good and chewey. I’ll try this formula as well as the Nutella and brown butter stuffed chocolate chip cookie recipe (OMG) next!

BTW, my husband and I shared a dark chocolate mint cookie a few weeks ago which was amazing and I would want to replicate it. It had been dark, dark chocolate with chocolate chips and mint pieces running right through it. I added some Andes mint parts to my Nutella flourless cookie and it had been good too. Need to focus on it.

Also was it designed to be self raising or plain flour?

Dear Monique
