Working in a store such as Abercrombie & Fitch will guarantee that a steady flood of attractive young girls are coming your way daily, and you have an excuse to talk with them too!

A further unwritten rule of dressing for stand-up is “Don’t use shorts to a comedy club.” Comedy clubs want to set on a specialized stand-up comedy present and they are inclined to search down on even brand name new comedians who walk on stage donning shorts. If you’re walking on stage at a comedy club often use pants… (I suggest very long pants).

A club with no music whatsoever is a bore. People often force conversation in while drowning their sorrows in alcohol. Such a nightclub, in fact, is hardly different from your local t-shirt country. A better club is one which includes a dance floor and a pumping sound system, allowing girls and guys alike to grind, salsa or swing to their hearts’ delight. Dancing breaks social inhibitions — especially when accompanied by the occasional mixed drink.

“Good move,” he says when I raise on a pair of Sixes. But he quickly puts me in my place on the next hand when I call a $300 raise with a Queen, Ten in my hand. “Stupid move. What were you thinking?” After the game we decide to head out with Gold and his crew to Tao. The place is packed but a path is immediately cleared for us with Gold leading the way. Lance Bass, P. Diddy, Danny Masterson and Jamie Kennedy are among the crowd as I kick off my first night at Sundance.

I happened to be downtown Nashville on a slow Sunday night looking for a place that was hopping. Much to my surprise a friend and I discovered this little world of its own. What drew us in were the half naked beautiful bartenders dancing on the bar and singing karaoke. The crowd is welcome to participate in karaoke just not dancing on the bar. It was packed with all types of people from college students to young professionals. This is a fun energy filled atmosphere. It is very casual. A Coors Light will run you $4 and a mixed drink $6.

Granted, I don’t feel comfortable going into my favorite coffee shop (Grounded on Jane street) and logging on to my profile and sending out 50 emails while they charge me for every minute. Can you put a price on your love life? Oh wait, that was the three month subsciption I shelled out.

I think I might have lost steam on this online dating thing, and here’s why. It’s too much bluidy (said with either a Scottish brogue or English accent) work. I realize that while men appear lazy when they sent just a wink, my form of laziness is by not logging on in three days. I knew my ulitmate desire was not driven by a website, that is supposed to be for meeting people who want a real relationship, my experience has been about propositions abou hooking up at 3 AM in the East Village. No thanks.

I have been to Fat Dawg’s a few times since it opened about a year ago. It has the typical smokey bar atmosphere and the customers seem to be folks just looking to drink a few cold beers and have a good time. If you show up on a Friday or Saturday night you will notice one common sight in the parking lot, a lot of motorcycles. Fat Dawg’s is definitely a place the motorcycle enthusiasts like to hang out, but they are there for fun, not trouble. Fat Dawg’s loves the bikers so much that they have the occasional “Bikini Bike Wash” outside the business. If you like motorcycles or bikini’s, this is the event for you! They are also very helpful if you decide to host a birthday party at the bar. In fact, they will decorate free of charge for you. You can’t beat that, free decorations and a load of fun.
