I think the whole atmosphere affects my work: the daylight, the weather, the sounds, the dreams, the people, my relationship with the exterior. I usually work alone, so everything related with human contact is very tough for me while I’m working.

Vision. You need to know who you are, what you’re doing, why, etc. This will define how you market your product, how it looks over all, and all the little details within that you need to do. Yep, so figure that out and then go nuts because you can’t go wrong with a big idea, as long as you know what the big idea is.

All three partners actively participate in running the business. Palmer does the majority of the graphic design, especially on the clothing side. Adam really focuses on web design and interactive media. Colin’s focus is more on business development, client relations and community partnerships.

There are many ways to start your own business. You can start a lawn-care business, a house cleaning business, a web design business, t-shirt company or various other businesses. Doing these will put you in total control of your destiny, and if it fails, or just plain out sucks, well, you have no one to blame but yourself! We know you don’t want to fail, so why would we even mention it? Because if you hate your job enough, then you already are one step ahead of the competition in the business field you choose to start your own business in. You have a drive and determination that will push you farther than anyone else!

You need to have contact with your customers. If you let someone go to your website and leave without ever getting the chance to talk to them, you’ve missed out on a huge opportunity. You’ll want to provide a way to subscribe to your newsletter or ‘special offers’ mailing list. Try offering an incentive for them to leave their email address.
