Some 3rd party websites that allow you to make custom T-Shirts, and other products are CafePress, Zazzle or Spreadshirt to name a few. You can create your designs on your computer. You will need a graphic design program such as Microsoft paint, Photoshop, CS3-PSD-125×125 or Adobe Illustrator. The reason is you will have to create some form of design, whether it’s a simple text design T-Shirt, or a more artistic graphic design T-Shirt, you need to create Vector images, or images that have a transparent background.

Vision. You need to know who you are, what you’re doing, why, etc. This will define how you market your product, how it looks over all, and all the little details within that you need to do. Yep, so figure that out and then go nuts because you can’t go wrong with a big idea, as long as you know what the big idea is.

Cat posts and toys can make you some very good money. Some cat houses and scratch posts can cost $100.00 or more if you bought one. You can make a very simple cat house or scratch post in under 30 minutes to make $30-$50 to sell it on eBay or any other place online. All you need is carpet and the cardboard roll the carpet comes in. You can buy carpet remnants very cheap at your local carpet store. Now use the carpet roll to wrap some carpet around. Throw some thick rope around it; put it on a base, and you just made a $30-$50 scratch post. When you get good at it, you can build a house with scratch posts and sell for over $100.00 each! Not bad for something you can do in an hour or Acttee less.

Another way to market your t-shirt company is to join a forum that is similar to the niche of your t-shirts. Become a regular contributor on the forum, and post a link to your company’s website in the signature area beneath your post. This method is time consuming, but it does not cost anything. If you have the time, I highly recommend joining and contributing to a forum that is similar to your niche.

The key to starting your own T shirt company and actually to selling T shirts online is to have a catchy design on them. This doesn’t mean you need to be an artist, but being witty and a little bit creative is a good start. People love snarky, humorous t shirts; so if you have a good sense of humor, see what kind of slogans you can come up with. Graphic tees are also a good bet, if you are artistic or if you know someone you can buy designs from. You can also use your own photography skills to take pictures of animals and flowers, or find these types of pictures online that are public domain to use and sell.
