Another person who did not complete even his college but had a passion for computer programming. He turned his vision, experimentation and online clothing sales marketing genius in to a fortune of more than $40 billion.

Keep this in mind, your suppliers are a part of your business, you are not alone. Being friendly and building relationships goes a long way to garnering favor. Not that you are building the relationship merely for your benefit, never be in it for yourself, be in it for you, your customer and your supplier. And when you most need it, that favor will one day be of benefit. This you can count on time and time again!

And speaking of cards, do you have all the addresses you need for cards? Now is a good time to get them ready. Update your list every time anyone moves. Have you made new friends? Add them to your list. You don’t want to forget anyone.

Thai Kitchen & Bar in Estes Park is small and doesn’t look like much from the outside, but it sure smells good inside. As we’re looking over our menus, Dan tells me I have to try the mango lassi, some kind of yogurt-mango shake. He had one at an Indian restaurant once and thinks I’d love it. So I order the cashew tofu dish with mild spices, and a mango lassi. Dan orders one of the pad thai dishes, “medium” on the spices. We get spring rolls as an appetizer. Yum!

Some of the ordinary people make a fortune even without capital or higher education while even highly educated people are satisfied with their 9 to 5 jobs.

Step three. Try out ideas for shops. A shop will contain products with several related designs. When you have an idea for a T-t-shirt shopping, try to find good keywords for it. A good keyword is at the same time most common and most rare: most common as a search term, most rare as a keyword on web pages. A good keyword is one which describes your product line, has many people searching for it each day, and does not bring up that many other websites on search engine results pages. If you cannot find good keywords for an idea, you’ll have to decide whether you are more committed to your idea or to your income. Is your shop a hobby or a business?

There are other scams they pull as well. These include trying to get you to pay about $5 for sealant to protect your decals. I did this once when I was younger, it really doesn’t protect them very well. Also there are the t-shirt shops that say “everything is $10”. They then tell you that they meant a plain t-shirt is $10, if you buy one that has a decal or needs one ironed on it’s another $5 to $10 each on average we have found out.

We’re both wearing tennis shoes because we don’t own hiking boots. Dan’s in shorts; I’m in jeans. Dan thinks it’s fun to walk through the snow; I think I’m going to slip and fall on my ass any second. Miraculously, we make it to Alberta Falls in one piece. Everyone is hanging out at Alberta Falls: a family with three young children, several people my parents’ age, a few people closer to my grandparents’ age. Good luck taking a picture that doesn’t have some stranger’s head (or other body part) in it!
