Girl buying radishesThe waterfall is gorgeous-definitely worth the uphill hike. (See figures 1 and 2.) We rest on a big rock for several minutes, enjoying the view, hoping the sweet little old ladies don’t accidentally tumble over the edge (they’re posing for a picture, and getting too close to the waterfall, if you ask me). Then we turn around and head back. It’s downhill the whole way. Wheeeeeee!

The nice church people call this hike to Alberta Falls an “easy” hike. Yeah, it’s not too bad, but where are the flat portions of the hike? Is it uphill the entire way? Well, the trees are really pretty, and I love the smell of the forest. We cross over a little stream on a wooden bridge. We see more chipmunks, and piles of snow in the shadiest parts of the forest. That’s right-SNOW-the white, melting kind. The hiking trail is rocky and a little muddy, and we have no choice but to trudge through the snow in parts.

Again, I found two shirts that I wanted; both were in the Collection category and were priced at $15. The One Day designs tend to be less expensive; perhaps because they’re still being proven. Shirts are sold in men’s and women’s styles; the women’s styles are more fitted and cost $2 more than the men’s styles. So far, I’ve seen prices for the shirts range between $13 and $17. XXL sizes are also priced $2 more than smaller sizes.

If you plan a party each year, you better think about it in advance. What theme are you planning? Maybe you want everything to be Santa, maybe it is elves, maybe it is for a needy cause. The earlier you plan, the better it will be.

Step four. Open your shop with good keywords. You want people to find your T-t-shirt shopping when they are looking for designs like yours. They will find your shop when they type in search terms that match your keywords. You need a lot of potential customers to find you on page one of search engine result pages. The more other pages that come up for those search terms, the harder – and less likely – it will be to get on page one of the results. The fewer the people looking, the less it will matter where you are in the results.

Every time I search through Ahpeel I find about 4 shirts I want, plus a few other screen printed items. This is also a great shop for finding a great birthday gift, Christmas present, or something special for a great Thank you gift.

Then I discovered, actually by accident, we had created “a brand”. People came to expect a certain element of surprise in our cartoons, a twist, a Far Side-like experience. I mention the Far Side for several reasons. Gary Larson was a major influence on my development, and several critics compared the cartoon to it. I considered that the ultimate compliment of course, and still greatly admire Larson’s work. At times, the influence was so strong, I had to walk a thin line, and Acttee remember, The Far Side was his brand. What could I do to make mine different, yet market to a similar niche of people?

Regular tee shirts are meant to give more breathable room and are styled for a loose fit for all occasions and activities. Fitted shirts are usually worn for dual reasons: one, because the wearer is attempting to make a statement and two, because the environment (hot party scene, maybe?) of the wearer calls for something a little more fashionable. See the difference? And thats just one aspect of tshirts … we haven’t even started on the material makeup or the differences across name brands (yup, everyone is unique and so are the brands that outfit them).
