If you have some cash, give a way some free products in a contest. Promote the contest as much as possible, to have people come to your site, sign up for a newsletter, or blog, or submit emails about your site to their friends, for a chance to win a free product. This is a great way to increase recognition of your brand, increase SEO, and increase your page rank in Google, all leading to more traffic, more looks at your products, and more sales.

Printing tshirts can be very expensive once you purchase all of the equipment needed. So to start, we did a lot of research on which of our funny t-shirt designs we thought would sell the best and then got in touch with some local t-shirt printers and received some prices. We picked the best printers based on price, lead time to finish the job, and final product and placed an order for about 50 t-shirts.

You’ll need to know how many colors you can work with too. You don’t want to create a fantastic design only to discover that you’ve used too many colors. You’ll also need to think about the size of the design. What looks good on a piece of paper might not look good on a T shirt. Can you see what it looks like online before you commit yourself? Can you ring up and ask the cheap T shirt printing company what they recommend?

Have fun! It’s not the end of the world if it doesn’t work out. I was just thinking how involved my life is at the moment with my T-Shirt business. My life revolves around it, which is crazy, but if it all fell apart and closed down tomorrow I’d be the same person and I’d find something else to do! I make sure I take one day off during the week to do what I love that doesn’t involve my work. I love doing my work, so I’m very lucky in that aspect, but sometimes it gets boring or tedious so I make sure I stay fresh and focused.
