A great thing to do at anytime is to make a book. A book of family photos of Christmas’ past takes lots of time. There is so much to do at Christmas time that this needs to be done in advance. You can add people you want to remember who have passed away. Photos of kids growing up always makes people smile.

Again, I found two shirts that I wanted; both were in the Collection category and were priced at $15. The One Day designs tend to be less expensive; perhaps because they’re still being proven. Shirts are sold in men’s and women’s styles; the women’s styles are more fitted and cost $2 more than the men’s styles. So far, I’ve seen prices for the shirts range between $13 and $17. XXL sizes are also priced $2 more than smaller sizes.

It’s also time to take a family photo for a greeting card. People do not often realize this needs to be done in advance. It may be hard to get everyone in the spirit but give the kids a Santa Claus stocking or hat and watch their faces light up. Pictures do not need to be in the snow or in front of a fireplace. It is easy to put on some red and green clothes and decorate a small area. You can also attend a studio. At least, make a reservation or a plan.

You need to understand your recipients, most obviously what type of ring binder will they find most acceptable. Having them pick up and take away a custom ring binder is not enough. You must provide something that they will use on a daily basis. Your logo in a cupboard does not give a return on your investment.

I’m also going to tell you that the next time you go t-shirt shopping, if you see El Cheapo brand t-shirts for $5, stay away from them. They’re not going to last you, and they reflect upon you as a person. I’m going to ask you to pay a little bit extra for better quality. I’m also not encouraging you to max out your credit cards and put yourself in debt. Far from it, I want you to pay that little bit extra to get quality assured. That means I can only buy one or two t-shirts instead of 10!? Excellent, that’s exactly what I want you to do. Surround yourself with a few items of good quality, instead of inundating yourself with substance of low or poor quality. You deserve the best, and it’s time you started giving it to yourself.
