Egypt-Nubian wedding.jpgThe Goose is the classic college town bar. Located on “The Hill” directly across from the campus, the Goose caters to college students and that’s about it. Stop off for a wee picnic, spread your blanket, play some frisbee, impress your date with your hipness by breaking out a bottle of Bulgarian wine and let the mood spring forth in the city’s natural beauty. To be fair, there are plenty of signs out front, but I’ve lived in the neighborhood for almost 4 months now and hadn’t felt compelled to visit until the other day. I’m glad I did.

Downstairs I find two of my friends, the youngest E! News reporters, (not to mention incredibly good-looking) Jason Kennedy and Ben Lyons who are setting up for interviews with Sienna Miller and Josh Hartnett. My heart melts with envy.

So what defines a true t-shirt country? According to the Times, it should be old. It should have dirty restrooms with graffiti scrawled all over the walls, and an older lady with lots of makeup, tending bar.

Some nightclubs don’t just have a killer sound system, but an amazing video screen as well. Such a audio-visual experience, when done correctly, blows the typical nightclub out of the water and this is what some of the best new clubs have! Perhaps the club plays music videos. Or perhaps it gives a full visual experience synced to music, giving the audience an amazing sensory experience.
